North America
It populates North America, being diffused in a wide range that covers most of the continent, extending in the north from the south-east of Alaska to the Great Lakes through the area of the border between Canada and the United States of America, and east through New England to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and south to Florida, the Rio Grande and northwest Baja California. Dimensions: 43-53 cm. Wingspan: 85 - 100cm.
